Man injured after lorry crash on Cambridgeshire A-road

A man has been injured after a lorry crash on a Cambridgeshire[1] A-road. The lorry left the carriageway on the A428 near Papworth Everard before 3.15am on Wednesday (March 5). The crash closed the carriageway for more than three hours.
An East of England Ambulance Service[2] spokesperson said: "We were called at 3.15am with reports of a road traffic collision involving a lorry on the A428 near Papworth Everard. "An ambulance, ambulance officer vehicle and the Hazardous Area Response Team were sent to the scene. The driver of the lorry, an adult man, was transported to Hinchingbrooke Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called at about 3.15am to the A1198 at the Caxton roundabout. A lorry had collided with the roundabout and was leaking fuel. "The lorry driver suffered minor injuries and was left in the care of the ambulance service.
