Lorry crash sees major Cambridgeshire road closed for hours

A lorry crash saw part of the M11 closed near Duxford on Monday morning (March 31). There was a diversion in place as a result. A National Highways spokesperson said shortly before 10.30am: "M11 is closed J8 - J10 (between Stansted Airport and Duxford).
Closure is for vehicle recovery and barrier repair. "A lorry has left the carriageway. Diversion via the A120.
Delays of approx.
10 minutes approaching J8." The road was closed for vehicle recovery and barrier repairs. It reopened shortly before 2pm.
