Family pays tribute to motorcyclist killed in crash with lorry on A41

A 72-year-old man who died following a crash between a motorbike and a lorry on the A41 in Shropshire[1] has been named as Mark Fitzpatrick, with his family paying tribute by calling him a "much loved" person. The crash, which happened on Monday, March 24, took place at Sambrook, near Hinstock, when a blue Yamaha motorcycle collided with a Renault HGV at 11.30am. Police confirmed shortly afterwards that the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police officers investigating the collision are still appealing for witnesses to assist with their investigation.
