A triple-lorry crash on an A-road in Cambridgeshire[1] has caused delays on Monday (February 24). Two lanes of the A1 Southbound at the A141 (Brampton Hut) were closed causing long delays in the area, with emergency repairs to the road also taking place. The police were called to the A141 Brampton Hut at around 9:10am with reports of a crash between three lorries.

Two lanes were closed to recover the vehicles. One lane has been closed on the A14[2] J22 (Brampton) for emergency repairs. A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire[3] Police said: "We were called at about 9.10am today (24 Feb) with reports of a collision between three lorries on the A141 Brampton Hut.

Officers are currently at the scene - no injuries reported." Inrix, the traffic data monitoring company, said: "Delays due to earlier accident, two lorries involved on A1 Southbound at A141 (Brampton Hut). "All lanes are now open.
