Serious crash in Windsor after car and lorry collide

A car in Windsor was badly damaged at the weekend (February 1) after it was hit by a lorry. It is understood that the driver of the car, a BMW, may have fallen asleep at the wheel causing them to swerve into the truck. Police from the Windsor East Neighbourhood Unit attended the scene and say that 'thankfully no one was seriously hurt.'

Writing on the TVP Windsor and Maidenhead page, Thames Valley Police asked that people 'be mindful of driving whilst tired as it is just as dangerous as drink or drug driving.'
