Motorists continue to face SEVERE delays near Dartford Crossing after two-lorry crash

The incident happened on M25 the clockwise near Princes Road in Dartford at around 2pm today (February 7). It has caused congestion to J28 near Brook Street Roundabout with delays through Purfleet and Lakeside. Closures were put in place between J1 and J1b as the incident was dealt with by police.

All closures have since been lifted, however, severe delays remain in the area. The full statement on AA maps says: "Severe delays due to earlier crash on M25 clockwise around J1B A296 Princes Road (Dartford). "Congestion to J28 (A12 Brook Street Roundabout) with delays through Purfleet and Lakeside.

"The A13 is also heavily congested on approach to the M25."
