A MAJOR Scots motorway was shut down this morning after a lorry burst into flames near an airport. The M8 eastbound was closed at Junction 2 near Edinburgh [1] Airport [2] while emergency crews tackled the blaze.

Motorists were being asked to find an alternative route. Cops [3] said smoke affected vision in the area.
