Major A-road blocked after lorry crash

A major A-road in Gloucestershire was blocked following a crash this morning, Tuesday, February 4. The A40 near Cheltenham was blocked westbound, after a crash involving a lorry at the A436. Roads and traffic monitoring site, Inrix, first reported the crash at 5.56am.

It said: "A40 Westbound partially blocked, delays due to accident, a lorry and a car involved at A436." The extent of the crash is not known at this time. Emergency services have been contacted for further information.
