M6 live updates as crash near A500 shuts three lanes
Motorists are being warned of delays on the M6[1] in Staffordshire following a crash. Three lanes are currently shut on the southbound side between junction 15 for Stoke-on-Trent and 14 for Stafford north. It is not yet known how many vehicles are involved or whether there are any serious injuries.
Traffic cameras on the motorway show the scene has been coned off. The smash was first reported at 8.40pm. Traffic monitoring site Inrix says: "Three lanes closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M6 Southbound from J15 A500 D Road (Stoke-On-Trent) to J14 A34 (Stafford North)."
