Live Wednesday travel updates with delays on M6, A500 and A50

Morning commuters are facing delays on major routes in North Staffordshire - including the M6, A50 and A500 this morning. Matters have been worsened on the motorway following a smash near to Junction 15. Traffic monitoring system Inrix reported how a van was involved in the collision on the northbound stretch with all traffic being temporarily held.

While all lanes have been reopened it has resulted in delays. Elsewhere and this morning there are long delays on the A50 with a travel time of 25 minutes between Meir and Sideway. It's also buy on the A500 at the D-road's two motorway junctions in Hanchurch and Audley.
