Live updates as lorry crash leads to standstill on M62

A major road has been blocked after a crash involving three lorries. Drivers are facing huge delays after three lorries crashed on the on M62 Eastbound. It was first reported around 2pm and there are reports drivers will face 45 minute delays above normal travel time due to the three miles of congestion.

Traffic monitoring system Inrix said: "All traffic being temporarily held and queueing traffic due to accident, 3 lorries involved on M62 Eastbound from J34 A19 (Selby / Doncaster , North Yorkshire[1] ) to J35 M18 (East Riding Of Yorkshire)." Emergency services including police, fire and ambulance services have been contacted for more information. This is a live blog which will be updated as and when we get any information.
