Live updates as all traffic held at standstill on M4 between Porthcawl and Margam after crash
A section of the M4 in south Wales is partially shut after a crash. The westbound stretch of the motorway near junction 37 is partially blocked. According to traffic monitoring service Inrix: "M4 Westbound partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident from J37 A4229 (Pyle / Porthcawl) to A48 Margam Road (Margam)."
Emergency services are at the scene. Traffic cameras show a build up of traffic on nearby parts of the M4, with traffic being temporarily held for a time. The eastbound M4 was also closed for a time but later re-opened.
