Live: M5 traffic stopped after crash in Gloucestershire as tailbacks form

Person suffers broken arm in crash
Gloucestershire Police say: "We were called shortly before 2pm today (Thursday) with a report of a collision on the M5 northbound carriageway near to Gloucester Services. A car collided with the central reservation and was on its side. The road was closed while police, fire and ambulance services attended, and an air ambulance also landed in a nearby field.
"One person was trapped inside the vehicle and he was freed by the fire service.
The man has been taken to hospital after he sustained injuries which include a suspected broken arm, and other injuries which are not believed to be life threatening at this time.
The road closure was lifted shortly after 3pm."
