Live as M1 Northbound blocked due to crash

A motorway has been blocked due to an accident causing delays and mayhem for commuters travelling home. The M1 Northbound has been partially blocked due to an accident this evening (Monday, February 2). It was first reported before 5pm and is at J45 A63 Pontefract Lane.

The accident has already caused huge delays according to our traffic system Inrix. It says: "M1 Northbound partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident at J45 A63 Pontefract Lane (Leeds[1] Cross Green)." It is not clear how many vehicles are involved or if anyone is injured.
