Lancashire: Man seriously injured after M6 lorry and van crash

A man has been seriously injured in a crash involving a lorry and a van on the M6 in Lancashire, police have said.

The collision happened between junction 32 (M55) and junction 33 (Garstang) at about 05:20 GMT.

A man in his 50s has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, a Lancashire Police spokesperson said.

The M6 northbound between junctions 32 and 33 has now reopened following the incident, with two lane closures remaining in place to enable investigation work to be carried out.
