Police confirm car driver died after crash with lorry on A470

Dyfed-Powys Police said it is investigating the fatal collision which happened along the A470 at around 10.30pm on Sunday evening (January 26). The two vehicles involved were a white Hyundai i10 and a white lorry. The force said the driver of the Hyundai died at the scene and their next of kin has been informed.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Newtown and Llanidloes responded to the collision in Dolwen before leaving the scene shortly after 1am.
Police are appealing for anyone with information, dash cam or CCTV footage, that could help them with their investigation.
