M62 westbound carriageway slip road at junction 24 shut

The entry road at junction 24 (Ainley Top) to the westbound carriageway of the M62 is currently shut. This is due to flooding and comes amid a Met Office yellow weather warning for heavy rain in Bradford, as well as the rest of West Yorkshire and Lancashire. The alert was put in place at 3pm yesterday and runs until 11am today.

The slip road closure was first reported just after 5am, according to the AA.

Traffic is reportedly "coping well".
