M25 closed anticlockwise between J3 Swanley Interchange and J2 Darenth Interchange after reported collision between two lorries

Drivers are facing lengthy delays on the M25 this morning after an earlier crash involving two lorries and a car. Two lanes of the anticlockwise carriageway are closed between the Swanley Interchange for the M20 at junction 3 and the Darenth Interchange for the A2 at junction 2.

The incident happened at around 7.30am and resulted in fuel being spilt on the road. A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called just before 7.30am to a three vehicle collision on the M25 anticlockwise, close to junction 3.

"Officers are currently at the scene alongside Kent Fire and Rescue Service and South East Coast Ambulance Service.

"Lanes three and four remain closed while emergency services respond to the incident."

It is not yet known if there have been any injuries as a result of the incident.
