Busy Cambs road closed after crash between lorry and car

A Cambridgeshire[1] road was closed after a crash on Tuesday (January 28). The A1139 was closed following a crash between a car and a lorry. The road[2] was closed at around 11:30am, while emergency services attended to the scene. it reopened at around 2:10pm.
Inrix, the traffic data monitoring company, said: "A1139 Frank Perkins Parkway Southbound re-opened, accident cleared from A15 Paston Parkway (Eye Roundabout) to Oxney Road / Sainsburys (Fengate)." An East of England Ambulance spokesperson said: "We were called just after 11.25am to a road traffic collision involving a lorry and a car on the Frank Perkins Parkway in Peterborough. Two ambulances were sent to the scene.
One patient, an adult woman, was transported to Peterborough City Hospital for further assessment and treatment." A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called at about 11.30 this morning (28 January) with reports of a collision between a lorry and a car on the A1139, Frank Perkins Parkway."
