A15 crash involving lorry and two cars led to road closure

The A15 was partially blocked in both directions[1] following an accident involving a lorry and two other vehicles. The collision took place just north of the Ingham Lane junction at Ingham[2]. The incident is understood to have happened at around 1.30pm on Wednesday, January 15. Lincolnshire Police[3] were at the scene.

An update from the force on its Facebook page states: "We are on scene at a collision involving a lorry and two other vehicles at the A15 just north of the Ingham Lane junction. "The collision is affecting both carriageways and officers are helping with careful traffic flow. We ask that you avoid the area for the next few hours while the debris is cleared.

Incident 165 relates." Traffic monitoring site Inrix stated that there was queuing traffic in the area. It states: "A15 in both directions partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident, a lorry and two vehicles involved near the Cammer Ingham turn off."

The road reopened at around 3.40pm and traffic has since returned to normal.
