Police update after mobility scooter and lorry crash
Police have issued an update following a crash between a mobility scooter and lorry in a Lincolnshire town. Officers were called to the incident on Carlton Road in Boston[1] during the morning of Thursday, November 28. It was initially feared that one person involved suffered serious injuries.
However, Lincolnshire Police[2] has since confirmed that the person's injuries were only minor. A picture from the scene shows emergency services in attendance and police tape blocking off Sleaford Road. The road was closed between Lister Way and Woodville Road.
The full statement from Lincolnshire Police reads: "We were called to the scene of a collision involving a lorry and a mobility scooter at Carlton Road in Boston at 11am.
Initially, officers feared the injuries to one person involved could be serious but thankfully they were later found to be minor."
