M62 lorry crash latest as road blocked with long delays

Drivers heading along the M62[1] this afternoon are facing lengthy delays. It follows a three-vehicle crash involving a lorry and two cars from Junction 26 eastbound on the M62. One lane is currently shut, according to traffic scanners.

Traffic is starting to stack back all the way to Junction 27. INRIX says: "One lane closed and queueing traffic due to accident, two cars and a lorry involved on M62 Eastbound from J26 M606 J1 (Chain Bar) to J27 M621 (Gildersome). Cameras show lane one (of four) is closed."
