M4 obstruction causes hour-long delays

A broken down vehicle caused major delays on the M4 on Thursday morning. There were hour-long delays on the motorway near Newport during much of the rush hour period. Traffic monitors showed that two lanes of the eastbound carriageway at junction 25 Caerleon near Newport were closed until just after 9am.

Cameras showed very heavy congestion in the area and two lanes blocked.
