Live: M4 delays as two cars crash near Almondsbury Interchange

Drivers face long delays on the M4 in Bristol[1] after two cars crashed on the motorway. One lane has been closed between junctions 20 and 19, with long delays at the Almondsbury Interchange. National Highways traffic cameras show long queues forming in the area.

There is stationary traffic on the approach to the Almondsbury Interchange where the M4 and M5 meet. Traffic monitor Inrix reports: "Delays and one lane closed due to accident, two cars involved on M4 eastbound from J20 M5 J15 (Almondsbury Interchange) to J19 M32 (Bristol).Lane one (of four) is closed."
