Joe Swash details terrifying crash as car is hit by lorry
Joe Swash[1] has taken to social media to reveal the shocking damage to his car after a lorry crashed into it. The ex-EastEnders[2] actor, 42, shared a shocking video on his Instagram stories on Saturday morning, revealing the damage to his car after a scary crash. The brief clip showed the star's vehicle parked on the motorway following a collision with a Scania lorry.
Alongside the video, Joe wrote: "I got hit by a lorry!!! Done the side of my car." Despite the accident, Joe has been busy rehearsing for a Panto. On Friday night, his wife Stacey Solomon[3] and their children went to see him make his stage debut.
The actor, known for his role as Mickey Miller, is currently starring in a special Beauty and the Beast pantomime at the Grove theatre in Bedfordshire.

Stacey couldn't contain her excitement on Instagram stories, telling her fans that after a festive day of decking out Pickle Cottage with Christmas[4] cheer, she was dashing off to catch Joe's first performance in the show. The mother-of-five shared how thrilled the children were to see Joe as Buttons, expressing that the whole family was 'so proud' of him.
This family outing happened just hours before Joe's car accident, following his performance at the Grove Theatre. Discussing his Panto role, Joe shared: "I've never quite made it to Prince Charming level yet. I'm playing a character called Flip Flop.
At Christmas, that's the best character. My kids, they're going to come down and they're going to watch it. I'm going to make sure they all laugh."
Joe and Stacey are currently filming a new TV showHe added: "The whole family will definitely be coming.
We're going to try and find it hard keeping them away from from the theatre. My mum, all of mine and Stacey's lot, they were more excited about it than me." This incident follows reports last month that the pair seemed to have a 'row' in the street[5], with Stacey spotted in tears.
The TV presenter was seen in tears after Joe[6] walked down the road alone, puffing on a vape. An emotional Stacey looked upset and was seemingly being comforted by a member of the camera crew that the couple had with them.
There has been 'tension' between the couple, claims a source (Image: apolloniallewellyn/Instagram)Now, a source exclusively told OK![7] that the couple's row in the street was genuine - and possibly the result of strain caused by filming their upcoming fly-on-the-wall reality show. "Their recent argument was a real one and both are wondering what they signed up for.
It seemed a great idea at the time but they're worried about exposing themselves even more, which is what this row showed."
"Despite people telling her that it's not as easy as it looks, she just thought it would be like putting up posts and stories on her Instagram.
But producers want drama and storylines so it won't just be her playing happy families," claimed our source. "Stacey is quite open about their arguments but this was a big one - and there has been a lot of tension."
The pair were all smiles when Stacey returned (Image: Instagram)While Stacey subsequently jetted off to Las Vegas after, upon her return to the UK, any rumours of lingering tension seemed to be swiftly put to bed, however - as Loose Women[8] favourite Stacey was greeted at the airport by Joe, accompanied by the couple's children, Rex, 5, Rose, 3, and Belle, 1, who were all smiles and holding a heartwarming 'Love you mum' banner to welcome Stacey back.
