Woman dies after crash involving Mini and lorry on main road
A woman has died following a crash[1] between a Mini and a lorry on a major Lincolnshire road. Emergency services were called to the incident which took place on the A15 between Lincoln[2] and Sleaford[3] on Tuesday, November 5. Police[4] closed the road between the Navenby Lane and Temple Bruer turn-offs shortly after the crash took place at 1.15pm.
A 72-year-old woman who was driving the green Mini suffered fatal injuries as a result of the incident. The road reopened in the early hours of Wednesday morning (November 6). Pictures from the scene showed police cars in attendance and a road closure in place.
Police are now asking the public for information which may help their investigation.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “Investigators are appealing for any witnesses to the collision who have not already spoken to police, or anyone who may have any dashcam that is relevant to the enquiry, to contact us.
