National Highways M5 closures in Worcestershire this week
Part of the M5 through Worcestershire will be closed overnight for the rest of this week, and a slipway in Worcester will also have its slipway closed. National Highways said it would be closing the sections for maintenance work.
For five days this week, starting tonight (Monday), junction 4a (Bromsgrove) to junction 3 (Quinton), northbound carriageway will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
It follows the closure of the southbound carriageway[3] between the two junctions last week. The Bromsgrove junction's exit and entry will also be closed for five nights until reopening for this weekend. The northbound entry slip onto the M5 at junction 6 (Worcester) will be closed between 9am and 6am on Friday while work is carried out.
National Highways said Worcestershire County Council Highways will implement diversions while the closures are in place.
