M25 live updates: Three-mile queues near Wisley after lorry crashes into roadworks

There were long delays on the M25 in Surrey on Friday night (November 1) after a lorry reportedly struck roadworks on the busy motorway. It happened clockwise within Junction 10 at Wisley. National Highways said there were 30-minute delays at 8pm, with three miles of tailbacks.

Traffic monitoring service Inrix said the motorway was blocked clockwise, with traffic diverting via the entry and exit slips at Junction 10 for the A3. National Highways said in an initial update on the incident: “Road closed due to a collision where a lorry has struck the traffic management for the roadworks. Recovery of lorry underway.

Traffic diverted off and back on via the roundabout.

30 min delay, 3 miles of congestion.”
