Dartford Crossing lorry crash causes severe delays
Two lorries crashed on the Dartford Crossing this morning (November 19), causing severe delays for motorists. The incident took place on the Dartford Crossing, which was heading clockwise. It took place before Junction 1a A206 (Dartford), and there was congestion to Junction 29 Romford, and both sides on the A13 back to Wennington and the Tilbury turn-off.
The crash was first reported at about 7am this morning. Two lorries are reported to have been involved in the incident. Two lanes were closed, causing bad delays for motorists.
Police and the East of England Ambulance Service were contacted in relation to this incident.
Drivers were urged to avoid the area where possible.
