Two people are on the run after crashing a stolen Audi into a B-Double truck, causing a serious accident that injured a man and shut down a busy motorway.

The collision around 8.15pm on Tuesday on the Logan Motorway at Loganlea in Queensland[2] caused the truck to burst into flames.

Witnesses reported seeing the pair flee from the wreckage of the stolen vehicle.

Hazardous smoke led to the creation of an exclusion zone at the crash site near Kingston Road and the ramps at Wembley Road and Station Road, which was lifted on Wednesday morning.

The male truck driver in his 50s was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
