Two people have died after a truck crashed into a house in regional Victoria[6].

Police said the truck had veered off the Princes Highway and crashed into a home at Tower Hill, near Warrnambool, after 7am on Friday.

An 81-year old man and an 80-year-old woman, who were both inside the house at the time, died at the scene, police said.

Police said the truck driver, a 70-year-old man from Portland, was taken to hospital where he was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
