Missing child found on M6 motorway after police pull car over

A missing child was found on the M6 motorway after police pulled over a car. Officers stopped the Honda at junction 11 on the motorway in the Midlands, Birmingham Live reports.[1] They found the 15-year-old inside the vehicle. They had been reported missing from the Lancashire area – around 100 miles away.

The child is now being safeguarded and has been taken back home, Staffordshire Police said. In a statement on X, cops said: “M6 J11 Honda stopped following concerns for a missing 15-year-old from @LancsPolice area.

It showed a Honda Civic with a marked police care in front of it with a BMW – possibly an unmarked police car – parked on the left hand side.
