M53 motorway closures starting October 28

The M53 through Ellesmere Port adjoins the A55 and link to the M56

One motorway will see partial closures this week. The motorway, which runs through Merseyside [1], will see closures as part of National Highways’ repair programme on the region’s roads.

This week, it is just the M53 which will be impacted according to the National Highways journey planning tool.

Work is due to start on Monday, October 21 and will impact the motorways for several days. ?

The motorways running through Merseyside include the M6 between J20 to 26, the M53 between J1 to 10, the M56 between J15 to 11, M57 between J1 to 7, the M58 between M57 (J7) to J3 and the M62 between J4 to 7.
