Woman taken to hospital and air ambulance sent to scene after crash between car and lorry on A10
A woman has been taken to hospital after emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to a crash between a car and a lorry on the A10 this morning. Police, paramedics and the fire service responded to reports of the two-vehicle collision on Lynn Road at South Runcton at 10.12am, which closed the road for a number of hours. An East of England Ambulance Service spokeswoman said it sent an East Anglian Air Ambulance, a BASIC vehicle, two ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle to the scene.

She said a woman was taken to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further care.
At 12.25pm, a Norfolk Police spokeswoman said officers remained at the scene. She said the road was closed between Wimbotsham and the roundabout near Tottenhill. Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Lynn, Downham and Swaffham to the scene and rescued vehicle occupants using hydraulic equipment.
A stop message was received at 10.56am.
