Motorist reported for driving offence following A35 lorry crash

The crash happened at around 10.30am[1] on the A35 near the turning for Eype on Saturday, September 25. A lorry could be seen rolled over by the side of the road, which was closed eastbound for more than four hours while it was recovered. This caused miles of gridlock for much of the day.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “A car driver was reported for an offence of driving without due care and attention.”

Dorset Police say that there were no serious injuries, though firefighters, ambulance and the air ambulance were all called to the scene as a precaution.

Police did not say which vehicle the reported motorist was driving.
