Live: Lorry crash sparks long delays on M4 in Bristol

A lane has been closed on the M4 following a crash this afternoon. Expect queueing traffic on M4 Westbound from J19 M32 (Bristol) to J20 M5 J15 ( Almondsbury Interchange). Road and traffic monitoring site Inrix first reported the crash at 3.37 pm.

According to Inrix, one lorry has been reported to be involved, however, It is not currently known how many other vehicles are involved, or if anyone has sustained injuries. The traffic site said: “One lane closed and slow traffic due to accident, a lorry involved on M4 Westbound from J19 M32 (Bristol) to J20 M5 J15 ( Almondsbury Interchange). “Camera shows lane one (of four) is closed near the refuge layby.”
