Gordon Ramsay[2] has come under fire for charging a whopping GBP19 for a disappointing full English breakfast.

The 57-year-old celebrity chef’s restaurant Bread Street Kitchen was slammed online for its fry up breakfast, with many comparing it to a ‘motor way service station’s breakfast’.

The meal appears to have one sausage, beans, one hash brown, one mushroom, one poached egg, two slices of bacon and one tomato.

Customer Silvio Tattiscone shared their disappointment on X, which sparked a series of negative comments.

It comes just days after Gordon was slammed by some fans who claim he served up ‘low quality’ pizza at one of his restaurants.

The chef, who became known for his foul-mouthed outbursts, is dishing up pies at seven of his UK Street Pizza restaurants.

Ramsay offers the pepperoni pizza as part of a bottomless deal at the chain for GBP20 – but has left fans up in arms after some compared it to the quality of the food at the popular pub chain JD Wetherspoon.

After a video was posted to the restaurant’s Instagram account of a pepperoni pizza being made, some fans were repulsed, commenting: ‘Looks like a Wetherspoons pizza’.

Another said: ‘Please stick to fish and chips. From Italy.’

One moaned: ‘Little stingy on the cheese mate’.

Another shared: ‘From an Italian point of view….those salami are very low quality and the pizza sauce is not great either’.

In contrast, other users gave more favourable reactions after seeing the finished article, posting: ‘Looks great!

I could eat three’.

‘That pizza looks so delicious I can’t wait to taste it’.

‘Looks great’.

It comes after Ramsay’s flagship restaurant in Chelsea was forced to remind diners with a booking to show up dressed appropriately for their meal.

The three Michelin-starred venue asks guests to ‘avoid shorts, tracksuits and hoodies’, although there is no mention of the Hell Kitchen’s chef physically ejecting them if they disobey.

The advice – which has been toughened up and made more explicit in the last year – is prominent on the website when making a booking.

It reads: ‘We would like all of our guests to feel free to express their own individual style however, we do ask guests to avoid shorts, tracksuits and hoodies.

‘Smart trainers are fine.

We know lots of our guests like to dress smartly which we appreciate!

Ultimately we want every guest to feel at home.’

Ramsay’s first solo venture, it opened in 1998 and in 2001 was awarded three Michelin stars, which it still holds.

A la carte mains include Cornish turbot and Herdwick hogget, both priced at GBP180.

The Michelin Guide describes the restaurant in rapturous terms, saying: ‘Head Chef and Co-Owner Matt Abe interprets Ramsay’s style impeccably, with signature dishes like the lobster, langoustine and salmon ravioli proving as exquisitely executed as ever.

‘As an embodiment of the chefs’ perfectly judged contrasts of flavour and texture, and their lightness of touch, you can’t go wrong with the roast veal sweetbread.’
