Dramatic pic shows aftermath of lorry & motorhome crash on Scots road

A SHOCKING image has captured the aftermath of a horror crash on a busy Scots road. A lorry and a smashed-up motorhome were left at the side of the road after this morning‘s dramatic crash on the A91 near Mawcarse, Kinross.

Police Scotland confirmed it was alerted to a report of a collision around 11.40am near the Glenfarg Junction. A Facebook[1] post claimed that people were directing traffic following the incident.

A shocking image of the crash scene emerged showing the mangled mobile home and the HGV had careered off into a grassy bank at the side of the road. It showed the front of the truck was pressed against the passenger side of the caravan, which was leaning at an angle.

Fife Jammer Locations uploaded the photograph of the crash to its Facebook page this afternoon. It was captioned: “A91 Mawcarse Glenfarg junction.

Police there. People directing traffic.” One user wrote: “OMG, that looks horrendous.

I hope everyone is okay.” Another added: “Gosh, that looks like a horrible accident. Praying that all involved are ok.

Poor souls.” One wrote: “What a mess. I hope the lorry driver and any one else involved is okay.”

Man & teenage girl rushed to hospital after car crashes in Scots ‘police chase’

Police Scotland[2] said: “Around 11.40am on Wednesday, 18 September, 2024, police received a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A91 near Mawcarse.

Recovery was arranged.” It comes after a teenage girl and a man were rushed to hospital[3] after a ‘police chase’ car crash. It crashed on Midfield Road following a “short pursuit”.

Cops were alerted to a report of concern for a female youth in Kirkcaldy’s Templehall area.

Police confirmed that they are probing the alleged incident.

A 21-year-old was arrested in connection with breach of bail.
