30,918 sqft Glasgow warehouse sold to Milngavie company

Bullet Express, advised jointly by Savills and Colliers, has sold the freehold of a warehouse unit at 140 Causewayside Street to Clockwork Removals for an undisclosed sum. The property consists of a modern distribution warehouse which will be fully occupied by the firm in the already established commercial area of Tollcross.

Following the successful purchase, Clockwork Removals has entrusted Savills to market its former premises which are located at the Cloberfield Industrial Estate in Milngavie.

Totalling 26,474 sq ft, the unit is available to let through Savills via the Glasgow-based Ross Sinclair. Ross Sinclair, who is a director in the industrial and logistics team at Savills Scotland[3], said: “Situated within a prime location in the established commercial area of Tollcross, the property lies within close proximity to junction 2A of the M74 motorway providing excellent access to Glasgow city centre, Lanarkshire, the south and the rest of the national motorway network. “This made it the perfect place for Clockwork Removals as the business continues to expand.”

Courtenay Morison at Clockwork Removals added: “We are delighted to conclude this transaction. “It is a fantastic unit and ideally suited for Clockwork to continue growing our removals and storage business in Glasgow.”

We previously reported that Bullet Express opened a 67,000 sq ft warehouse near Glasgow Airport.

They unveiled the warehouse in Renfrew in October 2022 which aimed to increase their storage and distribution capacity by 30% as well as bring many local jobs to the area.
