Steelwork goes up for ABB building at Fairham Business Park

Following on from the agreement of the sale for a bespoke building of just over 100,000ft2 for ABB at Fairham Business Park, Nottingham, steelwork is now up and the development is racing forward. [1] Due for completion in July 2025, the building will provide state of the art facilities for ABB, enabling their relocation from the centre of Nottingham to Fairham, which is probably the most accessible site by car, tram, bus and train in the region. Sitting outside of Nottingham's Workplace Parking Levy, the site provides quick access to the centre of Nottingham which sits a few minutes' drive away and equally the M1 motorway at Junction 24.

To be constructed to a BREEAM 'excellent' standard and an EPC rating of 'A', this bespoke facility provides a mix of extensive office and laboratory space with manufacturing and storage facility combined, all on a self-contained site adjoining the dual carriageway A453.

The sale to ABB was agreed by Tim Gilbertson of FHP and the latest deal will see over 500,000ft2 built at Fairham Business Park.
