Passenger injured and needed to be ‘cut from van’ after serious A13 crash

Police were called at 7.14am today (August 29) to reports of a crash on the major road in Wennington, and found a van and a truck had crashed. Both drivers were injured and a passenger in the van sustained "larger injuries", the Met Police said, requiring firefighters to cut them from the vehicle. The van[1] passenger was taken to hospital where their injuries[2] are being assessed.
