Motorway closed after serious crash

A man has died following a crash on a motorway exit slip road.

Avon and Somerset Police were called to junction 1 of the M32 for Hambrook in Bristol following a “serious injury collision” between four cars and a van at about 10:00 BST.

“Sadly the driver of one of the vehicles died at the scene,” said the force, adding that his next of kin had been contacted.

Two other people were injured and taken to hospital.

Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
