M6 closed live as air ambulance on way to ‘serious crash’ near Birmingham Airport

A spokesperson for National Highways said: “The M6 northbound in the West Midlands is closed between J4 Coleshill Interchange (The SOUTH WEST, Birmingham (S), Solihull, Birmingham Airport, NEC, M42) and J6 Gravelly Hill Interchange aka “Spaghetti Junction” (Birmingham (Cen), A38(M), Birmingham (NE) A38).

“This is due to a serious collision being attended by Central Motorway Police Group, West Midlands Ambulance Service, Midlands Air Ambulance and National Highways Traffic Officers.”
