Western Air, a commercial airline based in The Bahamas, has officially announced the commencement of daily direct flights between Freeport, Grand Bahama, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

This new Western Air[1] route is set to begin on Thursday, August 22, 2024, and will represent the airline's second connection between South Florida and the islands of The Bahamas.
