Elderly woman killed in A120 crash between car and lorry in Coggeshall

A woman has died after a serious collision involving a lorry and a car in Coggeshall on Tuesday (August 13). Emergency services rushed to the A120 between Marks Tey and Marks Farm roundabout due to the collision. Officers were called to the collision shortly after 2.40pm on Wednesday.

The road was closed in both directions whilst investigative work was carried out. Sadly the female driver of the car, aged 70, died at the scene. No arrests have been made as of yet, police has confirmed.
