Audi driver injured after serious crash with HGV
A DRIVER has been taken to hospital after a car crashed with a lorry. The blue Audi A3 was travelling on the A31 between Merley Roundabout and Canford Bottom when it struck an articulated HGV. Emergency services had to close the road while recovery was arranged for both vehicles.

Dorset Police said it received a report at 7.43am on Tuesday, August 6 of the crash on the A31 Wimborne Bypass near to the Merley Roundabout. Dorset Traffic[1] Cops added: "One person in an Audi taken to hospital by the police with minor injuries. Recovery for both vehicles en route.
Driver of the lorry was uninjured.
A spokesman for the South Western Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 7.50am on Tuesday, August 6 to a road traffic collision near Wimborne Minster.
"We sent two double-crewed land ambulances to the scene."
