Urgent warning issued ahead of TRNSMT 2024 in Glasgow
The music[1] event will take place between Friday, July 12 and Sunday, July 14 at Glasgow Green in the city. Musicians set to perform include Gerry Cinnamon, Calvin Harris, Liam Gallagher, and many more. However, ahead of it, Traffic Scotland[2] has said traffic will likely ‘be heavier’ on the M8 and M74 motorways over the weekend.
Due to this, concertgoers are being urged to ‘plan ahead’ to ‘avoid disappointment’.

It comes after we reported ScotRail has issued an urgent warning to TRNSMT fans heading to Glasgow this weekend amid its revised timetable. The rail firm is warning concertgoers to ‘be aware’ of its ‘temporary timetable’ which is currently in operation.
Meanwhile, bosses of the event have issued a reminder to those attending it on what IDs will be accepted.
Organisers of the much-loved festival have said passports, full or provisional driving licences, and national proof of age standard scheme cards with a pass hologram will be accepted.
However, no photocopies or expired IDs will be accepted at the summer music festival in the city.
