M42 lorry and cars crash live as traffic brought to a halt

Traffic is being held on the M42 in North Warwickshire after a crash between a lorry and two cars. Traffic website Inrix is reporting that all traffic is being temporarily held and there is stationary traffic on the M42 northbound before Junction 9 It says that there has been a crash, involving a lorry and two cars, on the M42 Northbound before J9 A4097 Kingsbury Road.

It is causing congestion to junction 7 at Coleshill. Traffic is being held after two lanes were closed. CoventryLive has contacted Warwickshire Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service about the incident.
