Live: M5 traffic held following multi-vehicle crash near Gloucester

There is heavy traffic on the M5 near Gloucester[1] following a multi-vehicle crash this afternoon, Tuesday, July 30. Traffic on the M5 northbound, at junction 11, has been held temporarily following the crash, causing long delays. Road and traffic monitoring[2] site Inrix reported the crash at 2.50pm.

It said: "All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to multi-vehicle accident on M5 northbound at J11 A40 (Gloucester / Golden Valley Bypass). Camera shows traffic has been held near J11A (Gloucester / Brockworth Bypass)." A picture of the motorway shows no traffic at junction 11 as emergency vehicles appear to have closed the whole road.
