Cheltenham road reopens after serious crash involving lorry and cyclist

A road in Cheltenham was closed following a serious crash. Emergency services were called shortly before 2.20pm with a report of a collision involving a lorry and cyclist outside Funky Warehouse in Swindon Road. Police say the rider of the bicycle, an elderly woman, has been taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with suspected serious injuries.

Swindon Road has been closed from the Kingsditch/Wymans Lane roundabout to Windyridge Road.

The road reopened at around 8pm.
